I am a Librarian from Nigeria, working with University of Nigeria. I work in the Digital Library Services Division. Working as a librarian in the Digital library services has been so interesting and challenging, especially when it comes to introducing new ideas and innovations. This has been the motive behind my interest and zeal in learning new things, Information technology has also affected our service delivery which calls for updating of skills.
The four weeks programme hosted by mortenson center for international library programme is a welcome development, my expectation is that at the end of this programme I will have a lot of new ideas and skills to take home and teach my colleagues. This will go a long way to improve the service delivery in my university.
