My dream has always been to be a participant in the Mortenson program, and here is my first week of achieving the dream, which will extend for about a month. Very grateful and thank you for the end of the first week. A very beautiful start with a dinner invitation to Dr. Barbara Ford’s home.



Monday June 3 , 2024
With the first step to the university building and the library, then reaching the hall, start of presenting about my beautiful library as a model of future libraries, by showing an introductory video about the library .

The DiSC lecture provided valuable insights, prompting me to note several lessons for future application.
Firstly, it introduced a fresh understanding distinct from prior analytical theories. Secondly, it deepened my comprehension of my own personality style, highlighting both expected and surprising attributes perceived by others. Thirdly, I committed to investing in my strengths while addressing weaknesses to achieve balance across personal and professional realms. Furthermore, I recognized the importance of tailoring interactions based on individual styles for mutual benefit. Lastly, I acknowledged the challenge of effecting change in others and gained cultural insights from diverse anecdotes, culminating in a holistic approach to growth grounded in empathy, self-awareness, and adaptability.

The Transformative Leadership session offered valuable lessons. Firstly, it emphasized the importance of diverse perspectives in teamwork for understanding challenges comprehensively. Secondly, it highlighted strategic thinking as essential for addressing complex issues. Lastly, it underscored the pivotal role of leadership in effective communication and guiding collective understanding. These lessons converge to shape a transformative leadership approach grounded in collaboration, strategic thinking, and adept communication.

In the Change Management session, I gleaned several key lessons for implementation. Firstly, I learned about the critical aspects of controlling the most challenging aspects of work change, including budget, training, and bureaucracy. Secondly, I recognized the importance of developing plans in advance to address work challenges effectively and manage expectations before implementing solutions. Lastly, I understood the significance of maintaining positive communication and engaging in consultations with others to gather valuable opinions and solutions
