Yunjin Choi

Hi, my name is Yunjin Choi and I am working at the Seoul National University which is one of the best research-intensive universities in South Korea. For the past five years, I have focused on providing diverse events and promotional services for users and visitors of both on-campus and off-campus libraries. Currently, I am primarily engaged in supporting academic research for undergraduate and graduate students, researchers, and professors on campus.

I graduated with a master’s degree in Records Management after completing my undergraduate studies in Law, Library & Information Science. I aspire to become a proactive, creative, and smart leading librarian, continuously seeking innovative solutions and embracing new challenges to enhance the field of library and information science.

I am committed to advancing the field of library and information science through continuous learning and professional development. I believe participating in the Mortenson Associates Program is a valuable opportunity for my growth. Through this program, I aim to achieve three goals.

  1. Grasp how changes and new technologies affect libraries
  2. Identify key skills for librarians and plan for improvement
  3. Imagine the future of libraries and set a clear vision
