Travel to Chicago

We went to Chicago from 5 June to 7 June.

Firstly, we visited to University of Chicago Library.

I was surprised when I saw the Joe and Rika Mansueto Library. It is wonderful building and it has automatic compact storage.

Media Arts Data and Design Center has many interesting things.

Secondly, we visited to Little Italy Public Library.

We were able to see a Little Story Time Class for children.

Thirdly we visited Harold Washington Branch Chicago Public Library.

The YOUMEDIA Center is a special space for high school students.

There is music band space, drawing space and maker space.

One of the famous rappers, chance the rapper, practiced his rap in this space.

I would like to make like this space in our library.

This is the children’s library.

This is the Innovation Lab. It looks like to Korean Make Space.

Lucky, I was able to see inside after finishing the class.

Fourthly, we visited Upshot Marketing.

Liz Aviles gave a presentation about what the Upshot Marketing does.

Lastly, we visited ALA Headquarters.

The director (Michael Dowling) introduced a Korean book which is one of my team members translated.

We had a great time in Chicago.

I would like to say thank you very much who introduced all of things to us in Chicago.
